About the Committee
The Directorate of Authority is NYMUN's flagship crisis committee — a high-intensity, fast-paced simulation where delegates navigate geopolitical power, ideological conflict, and the ethics of governance. DOA challenges delegates to argue, defend, and dismantle the very foundations of political authority.
Delegates in this committee will be expected to engage in rigorous debate, draft comprehensive resolutions, and navigate the complexities of international diplomacy. The focus remains on finding sustainable, peaceful solutions to global challenges.
