Refund Policy
All registration fees paid to NYMUN 26 are strictly non-refundable in any case. This policy outlines the terms governing payments and cancellations.

By completing payment, you acknowledge and agree that no refund will be issued under any circumstance, including but not limited to cancellation by the participant, non-attendance, or disciplinary removal. Payments are processed via Cashfree Payments Private Limited (RBI Authorised Payment Aggregator, Certificate of Authorisation No. 266/2025). Registrations are made via Tikxz, a product of edXtra Technologies.

Scope & Applicability
1.1 Coverage
This Refund Policy applies to all registration fees paid to NYMUN 26 by delegates, faculty advisors, or institutional representatives. It governs the conditions under which cancellations may be requested.
1.2 No-Refund Policy
All registration fees paid to NYMUN 26 are strictly non-refundable. By completing payment, you unconditionally acknowledge and agree that no refund will be issued, regardless of the reason or circumstance, including participant cancellation, non-attendance, partial attendance, organisational changes, or disciplinary removal.
1.3 Reading in Conjunction
This policy must be read in conjunction with the NYMUN 26 Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict, the Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
Payment Platform
2.1 Payment Processor
Payments for NYMUN 26 registrations are processed via Cashfree Payments Private Limited, an RBI Authorised Payment Aggregator holding Certificate of Authorisation No. 266/2025. By making payment, you agree to Cashfree's terms of service and privacy policy, and authorise the sharing of your payment information with Cashfree for transaction processing purposes.
2.2 Registration Platform
Registrations for NYMUN 26 are facilitated through Tikxz, a product of edXtra Technologies. By registering, you agree that your registration and profile details will be shared with NYMUN 26 and Tikxz as required for conference administration.
2.3 Non-Negotiable Fees
Registration fees are set by the Organising Committee and are subject to revision across different registration phases (early-bird, standard, late). The applicable fee at the time of registration is binding. NYMUN 26 does not negotiate or reduce fees on a case-by-case basis.
2.4 Inclusions
The registration fee covers delegate accreditation, access to all committee sessions and plenary meetings, the delegate kit (including study guides and conference materials), participation certificates, and access to conference networking and social events as specified in the official conference programme.
2.5 Exclusions
The registration fee does not cover travel, accommodation, meals outside designated conference provisions, personal expenses, or optional excursions. These costs remain the sole responsibility of the participant.
Cancellation by Participant
3.1 No Refund on Cancellation
In the event a participant wishes to cancel their registration for any reason, no refund of the registration fee will be issued. The no-refund policy applies unconditionally, regardless of the timing of the cancellation request.
3.2 Cancellation Notification
While no refund will be issued, participants who wish to formally notify the Organising Committee of their cancellation should submit a written request to info@nymun.org with the subject line "Registration Cancellation – [Full Name] – [Registered Committee]".
3.3 Non-Attendance
Failure to attend the conference, with or without prior notice, does not entitle the participant to any refund. No-shows are treated the same as cancellations for refund purposes.
3.4 Partial Attendance
Delegates who attend only a portion of the conference are not entitled to any partial or pro-rated refund.
Cancellation or Modification by the Organisers
4.1 Organisers' Right to Modify
NYMUN 26 reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the conference programme, schedule, venue, or format at any time without liability. Such modifications do not entitle participants to refunds.
4.2 Format Change
If the conference is shifted from an in-person format to a virtual/online format due to circumstances beyond the Organisers' control (including public health emergencies, natural disasters, or government directives), no refunds will be issued. Participants may continue with their registration at no additional cost.
4.3 Force Majeure
NYMUN 26 shall not be obligated to provide refunds where the conference is cancelled, postponed, or modified due to force majeure events, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, civil unrest, pandemics, epidemics, government-imposed restrictions, or venue destruction.
Disciplinary Removal & Misconduct
5.1 Removal Without Refund
Participants removed from the conference due to violations of the Code of Conduct — including but not limited to possession or consumption of alcohol, intoxicants, drugs or abuse products, offensive behaviour, property damage, or any other prohibited conduct — are not entitled to any refund of registration fees, regardless of the stage at which removal occurs.
5.2 Fraudulent Registration
Registrations found to involve fraud, misrepresentation, or submission of false credentials will be cancelled immediately. No refund will be issued in such cases, and NYMUN 26 reserves the right to take further legal or institutional action.
Amendments to This Policy
6.1 Right to Amend
NYMUN 26 reserves the right to revise this Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be published on the official website. Material changes will be communicated to registered participants via email. Continued registration after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
